30 days of Thankfulness: Day 21, Day 22, Day 23- Thankful for Music, Christmas Decorations, and Books...

Day 21

I am thankful for music. 

Many of you know that I use to be a Music Major in college, and even wanted to become a professor one day with it. I love all sorts of music, and I love creating music. I sing, I can play the clarinet, I can play the keyboard/piano, I can play the flute, I can play the violin, and I can play the Xylophone.

Day 22

I am thankful for Christmas Decorations!

I love this time of year, and it was BY FAR my moms FAVORITE Holiday! She loved the decorations, She loved the baking, but by far she loved the family all together. I know Thanksgiving this year won't be the same, but I would love my Christmas to be just like how the Christmas with her always was--- with family.

Day 23

I am thankful for books.

They open your mind, they give you an imagination, they let you explore worlds you otherwise would never have.

Day 19

I am thankful for Organization & "my little black book"

Although I wish I was more organized than what I am, I enjoy lists, planners, sticky notes, colors, labels... you name it I love it!

Picture 2 is a planner I found online with my name on it, but they have become my obsession and I would absolutely love one. They are by Erin Condren

I am thankful for warm blankets.

 

Sometimes I like them to keep me warm-- but most of the time it's for comfort. Maybe Chris Anderson & Myself should have named Christopher 'Linus'

30 days of thankfulness: Day 15- Thankful for Trees/Wood...& Decorating...

Day 15

I am thankful for trees/wood.

It is going to keep us mighty warm this "winter"

It will also save on the Electric bill because we won't need to run the heaters. Now. inside the house where everyone else is, they will run the heater.... mostly for Christopher (and when little William comes to visit) but the rest of adults can take it if it is a little nippy inside.

 Our friend Maya was kind enough today to bring us a truck bed full of wood for no cost! :) 

In other news...

Chris and I have been busy decorating! :) Little Elves have died because of us today... but Oh Well...

And I also am hoping to hear back from a potential job. Fingers Crossed xx and prayers please!!!

30 days of thankfulness: Day 13 & 14- Food, Water & Patience...

Day 13

I am thankful for food & water

Without those essentials we wouldn't survive. There are so many in this world that go without & die from starvation including children. We can be so wasteful at times... before you toss food away or let it rot in your fridge, think about those that go without and be thankful you have enough food on your table to eat.

Day 14

 I'm thankful to have a little patience

 especially this morning. My 3 year old decided he wanted to make a science experiment with his diaper & now all of its little balls are on my freshly cleaned vacuumed floor... ( and they are NOT easy to clean up... even with a vacuum)

Baking, Scrapbooking, Card Making... these "hobbies" have also saved us money in the long run... and who doesn't like homemade cookies?

I am thankful to those that serve and who have served in our Country. Thank you for your strength, Thank you for your dependence, and Thank you for your Sacrifice. 

ALSO ON A SIDE NOTE: I have been extremely slack with knowing the days of the week apparently, because for the last few blog posts they have been a "number" off... *silly me* Today is really Day 11!

Day 7

I am thankful for a roof over our heads.

my mother and father-in-law took us in after we lost our house last year. Not only am I thankful for them, but I am thankful that we have a roof over our heads. It has been a struggle, but we're saving up slowly for a home of our own again one day.

Day 8

I am thankful for enough cleaning supplies to last me a couple years! 

 Little man is such a messy boy, that he takes LOTS of cleaning after! :)
