I liked this blog challenge because I have not done one in awhile, and it also gives me a chance to let everyone know a little about myself. (Even though this blog is a few years old)

I enjoyed sharing pictures the best! (Those are also some of my favorite blog challenges)

It has been a great April & I can't wait to have a Disney Blog Challenge starting next month & Also doing a Vacation Series, because I will be on vacation May 13-17

Winter

Real Winter. Cold crisp air. Lots of snow on the ground. But with the sun still shining. 

I love this time of year because it really brings together family. You have Holidays that come up, and you bundle in tight close to the fire & can read a good book.

I have some of my fondest memories as a child during the winter.

Becca & Amy!!!! I met (online) Becca in 2003 and Amy (online) in 2004. Both on Kiwibox, a teenage type blog and they were there when I went through high school, and then we found eachother on facebook & through blogs when kiwibox went downhill and we "outgrew" it. :)

Amy lives in Charleston, not too horribly far away from me, and Becca lives in Ohio, and we have pen-pal'd for years!!!!

I would love to meet these ladies & I know one day we will get together!

I live in the State of South Carolina

Home of the Gamecocks (Please... do not let anyone else tell you any different!)

You will find a lot of "Old South" around here. Old South is a term meaning: Born and raised here... for generations and generations. 

Camden has some of the prettiest historical homes & places around.

Although I know I will not live here in the South my whole life, I must enjoy living here while I live here. 

I will always be a yankee born and bred though.

I was on a school field trip to a water park in 4th grade. I had on a two piece bathing suit, and the back of the bathing suit had a clip.

I went on a "water slide" and my top came off in front of my crush! I was so mortified. I still don't like going to waterparks for this reason.

Losing my family is one of my biggest fears. I still have nightmares (have since I was a child) and they all include losing my family in one way shape or form. A Psychologist will tell you that those are insecurities about your relationship with your family or possibly the fear of death and dying. 

I really don't know what it is, but it scares me.

List 5 Books You Read On The Regular & Why

I am in love with this series, and this is by far one of my favorite books! I have read it so many times. It is not for everyone, nor would I push it on everyone. I enjoy this lifestyle and have great experiences with this lifestyle.

I found this book one day for free on my Kindle, read the description and read it in a few hours. Great YA book. I have read it quite a few times since.

I love this series, but this is by far my favorite book! I have read it multiple times.

This is a fun book! It is one of those "choose your path" books & I always go back and change my "fate" according to the story. This however; is NOT for children, and can get pretty graphic! For example: a few years ago my "fate" decided I was rich beyond belief, but died from a mysterious disease caused by the fact that I was raped by a gorilla. (I told you... it gets pretty graphic)

I also love this series! This is one of my favorite books :)

Why and When did you start blogging?

I started "blogging" or journaling a long time ago. I started on paper and have always kept a Diary or journal around. 

I found kiwibox in 2001 and would write entries periodically. By 2003 and 2004 I made 2 friends I didn't know at the time would still be in my life today! 

Amy & Becca my "kiwibox" buds, and myself stopped using kiwibox when they had changed their site around, and deleted all of our blog entries. 

I friended them on facebook when it came around. And I follow both of their blogs. I send occasionally notes or letters to Amy (who lives in Charleston, SC and whom I still have yet to meet) and I am an active Pen Pal to Becca (Who lives in Ohio, and I also still have yet to meet)

I'm sure one day these ladies and I will catch up. Can you imagine the blog entries on that visit??? Or the pictures? or the memories?

I started writing my thoughts down when I was 5 because my therapist thought it was best to get thoughts out when my mom and dad were going through a separation. It helped a lot, and I believe I still have that diary in a box somewhere. 

I do it now to keep tabs on things I want to remember & I love adding pictures to memories and moments so that others can see as well.

I also like getting ideas out there that others believe in too. 

 A blog though, is nothing but words. I like it best when I can interact with others through comments, or follows :)

Do You Have Regrets?

Sometimes I think I have regrets about certain things, or how I handled things, or about the many mistakes I have made... but in retrospect... Think about it: What would your life be like today if you hadn't made those mistakes to begin with? 

I wouldn't have married Chris

I wouldn't have had our son

So many things would have been differently, that I don't think I would have liked my life.

I probably would have graduated college by now, and I would have my degree.

But who knows what the future would have held. What if I had money but wasn't truly happy?

I'm happy with how things are now...

so no. I don't have any regrets :)

Something That You Miss

Not really a "Something" That I miss... but more like a "Someone". I really miss my mom.

Mom & Pop Easter 2012

This picture was a few months before she found out she had cancer. I miss her more and more everyday. But I know she is no longer suffering, because for the 6 months she had cancer... that is what she was: suffering. 

I watched her rapidly decline in health. Age hit her like a ton of bricks when she broke her neck. Our final Christmas with her was the most special. She passed away a day before Valentines 2013. 14 months ago, but it doesn't even feel like a year, and even when the years get longer, it will still feel like yesterday to me. 

I will always remember her last breath. I will always remember the look and smell of the rose my papa placed on her chest. 

So this is not "something" I miss...

It is Someone.

I have always wanted to go to Italy. Before we decided to go to Disney on our honeymoon, we originally were going to go to Italy.

I'm hoping to take a trip this summer to one of our Drive In Movie Theaters just to have the experience

Go Sky Diving. I'm scared of heights, and would love to conquer my fear

And collect a shot glass from each!

Biggest Pet Peeve

I think I have too many to name just one.

I'm annoyed if the laundry is folded wrong & not rotated. (As in newest clothes go on the bottom if folded or placed towards the back of the closet)

If my books are not in Alphabetical order (and if a series is not in numerical order)

If the bathroom seat is left up

If the dishwasher is empty & there are dishes in the sink

If I'm ignored (As in I'm talking and no one is answering me)

There is probably many more....

But these are just a few.
