7 years of life, love, friendship, and family........

5 pictures that symbolize our 7 year relationship in a nutshell.

Hello Bloggers!!!
7 years ago Chris asked me to be his "girlfriend". We were friends for 4 years prior. On November 23rd 2007 Chris asked me to be his wife. On November 1st 2008 we were wed. On September 9th 2010 Christopher made our family into 3.

We went to the doctors today and he basically said that I never needed the surgery in the first place, and not to go back to an Orthopedic that says I need more, because my knee is perfectly fine. All I really had was some wear and tear. I'm off the brace, and he said he recommend aggressive physical therapy. ( That differs from Physical Therapy by how hard they "train" me.) I say that because the place I am going to is for athletes and athletic trainers, and I will basically be doing a small version of what they do.
I CAN FINALLY GO BACK TO WORK! (Now I just have to get a job)
I am planning on filling out applications at places that at least have a strict set of hours, just simply because it will make it easier on me and Chris, and it will make it easier on Christopher when I put him in daycare.

Hope you guys have a great day!

Memorial Day Weekend...

Memorial Day
At Pop's Home

Hello Fellow Bloggers! I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

We spent a couple hours at my friend Caroline and her husband Nate's Luau party on Sunday. Christopher even got into the swimming pool! The water was really chilly because of our tiny "cold front", but he didn't stay in it too long to harm him, and Caroline made sure we had a towel to wrap him in.

On Monday we went over to my pop's and spent quite a few hours talking, and eating, and playing with Christopher. We had BBQ chicken, hot dogs, baked beans and chips. YUM! I enjoyed being with my papa. I hadn't seen him in about a
week if not more. He told us that we should be
getting Daisy next week for about a week or
maybe a little longer. He's ready to take his
vacation to New York. I am hoping that we can
go to New York in July. I am really looking
forward to seeing all of our family!

Tomorrow I have an appointment at Moore Orthopedics, and a nurse appointed by Liberty Mutual will be coming with me. I will let you guys  know more about my appointment.

I hope you guys have a wonderful day!!!! :)

Memorial Day Weekend, Plans, and Pictures....

Hello! Today is Friday and it technically the start to Memorial Day Weekend. Please remember what Memorial Day stands for... it is not just about the cookouts.

On that note we will be going to my pop's for Memorial Day. I think we're bringing some hot dogs and he's cooking some chicken!

Today Chris and I ran to the store for a few things, and then I laid out in the sun while Christopher was taking a nap. Chris is trying to get the pool cleaned up by Sunday so that we can finally enjoy it on these HOT summer days. This won't be a long entry, just figured I could share some pictures of today.

Short Entry........

5.20.2013

Hello everyone! I'm feeling under the weather today, so I just figured I would write a short blog entry.
I haven't really been up to much today. We went to the bank first thing this morning so I could deposit my check, we got a few things at the grocery store, and then went by the ATM to get my Mother-In-Law her rent.

Now little man and I are just watching BOLT for the BAZILLIONTH time!

Tomorrow and Wednesday Chris has to work, so I will be trying my best to do a little house work (laundry... ect)

Well hope you guys have a great day!

Visiting, Primping, Doctors, Growing Up, and May Designs.....

Busy Busy Busy!!! Yesterday and Today have been rather busy for me. Phew.

5.16.2013
We went to visit pop for a couple of hours, because it has been about a week since we last saw him. It wasn't super nice out, but we still sat outside even if the sun refused to shine down.

At about 4:30 we left and went to Kershaw Health because I have been waiting on my surgery reels, and they finally found them, so we left to pick them up.

Afterwords I went and got my nails done because they were in desperate need of some TLC. I chose another fun color--- Purple with sparkles. Doing things like this for myself helps me relax. Even if you're a mommy, you need to also take care of yourself!

5.17.2013

Today we went to Providence North East at Moore Orthopedics to drop off the surgery reels and the CD of my MRI's from Camden Bone and Joint. I have waited 9 weeks to hear back from Liberty Mutual about finding another Dr for me, and they FINALLY got in contact! I am in the process of a waiting game though-- because I'm still not sure if I will be seeing this Dr or not. He has to look over my charts and MRI's and Surgery reels and determine if he will treat me or not. :( I hate the waiting game...

This is what Christopher's bed will look like in a few short hours!!! :) We're finally putting him in his bed, because he is escaping out of his playpen. He used to sleep in his crib until we moved in with Chris's parents. But his parents' house really doesn't have the room to set up his crib, so we had him sleep in his playpen. He has now outgrown it, so we're taking the next step and putting him into his bed.

Now we just have to get him potty trained! I wish it was easier to do than to be said.

After seeing May Designs on pinterest I was extremely excited to order from them! They customize Planners, Meal Planners, Notebooks, ect... and the books are SOOO CUTE! I ordered mine today and should be getting it in about 14 days (I'll show you guys pictures once I get it). They're cheap considering the work that has to be put into them! I got mine on a special sale because they were shown on Good Morning America yesterday! (I got mine for $16 incl. shipping) I would rather have something personalized than to go to Wal-mart and spend $10 on something that hasn't been hand-stitched and been created just for me.
You can check them out here May Designs

Well this is all for today!

Cancer SUCKS!

Hello Everyone! Although I have kept myself busy today doing laundry, dishes, and cleaning up... I am still upset. My Aunt Charlene passed away this morning from Cancer. She was diagnosed in September. Hard to imagine this year getting any harder for my family, but I assume it could be worse.

I feel for my cousin Nicole, and her children. Losing someone is always hard. #CancerSucks is all I have to say.

When Chris got home from work, we hung some laundry, and started cleaning the pool. It is getting warm enough outside that we need to be immersed in water or something! :)

Tomorrow we're going to my dads to visit and have dinner, and I am hoping that before we go there I can find something to put my moms ashes in. A late Mothers Day present, but it still counts!

This is all for today...

Home is where your Mom is...

5.11.13
Saturday--
Caroline and Nate's Gender reveal party was so much fun! While Esther watched Christopher, we headed out to their place and ate, played some games, found out the gender, and of course opened presents. Chris and I bought them a pack of newborn diapers and a little bath pack. Because we didn't know the gender prior, it was more of a diaper and toiletries party, so at her baby shower it'll be more of a gender themed gift. I already know what we're getting them!
TEAM PINK WON! THEY'RE HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!!! Paisley Claire will make her debut [approx] 10.15.13

All of us ladies were soooo happy! Glad I wore pink! We also got to see their gender reveal pictures and they were perfect! A lot of time and effort was put into the party planning, and I really enjoyed playing the games, and watching her open her gifts! She'll be a wonderful mommy!

5.12.13
Today--
My Mothers Day was relaxed. Christopher and I played outside for a little bit, I tanned, read my book, and watched Chris as he cleaned out our deep freezer. My mother was with me in spirit as I cried. Cried for losing my mom, and cried because I'll also be losing my aunt to cancer. (she is no longer responding).
Kevin and Esther got me a pretty cute card with some cash inside to do whatever I want to with, and Chris made me a card (I have yet to see it).
I made Esther a couple of things and luckily I have pictures, so I can show you down below!
Esther's Mother Day Card made by yours truly! Thank goodness for Cricut Machines!
Inside the envelope we put a Mounds Bar and a Hershey's Bar (She doesn't care for Mounds) and the envelope is taped to a Mountain Dew bottle. I found this on Pinterest and thought it was the cutest thing! It says "Mounds of Thanks 4 all u Dew"
This is from Christopher to Esther. I still have yet to put it in a frame.

So today has been bittersweet so to say. But everything will heal with time, and although it hurts to no longer have my mother around, and to find out that I am losing another relative to cancer, I consider myself blessed. I am blessed to have the family that I have. To have the love that I have.

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy May, Movies, Balloons, Girl or Boy? and Mothers Day Weekend....

Hello Everyone! Hard to believe that it is already May, and the only reason why I say that is because if you lived in South Carolina you would know that the beginning of May was NOT pleasant at ALL! This is the 2nd Sunny Day!!! NO LIE... it rained for almost 2 weeks. UGH!

Chris and I went out on a date yesterday! Gosh it was really nice. I haven't been to the movies in awhile, I think the last movie we actually went to see in theaters was Hansel and Gretel and that was last year around the time that we moved into our in-laws. We really wanted to see Iron Man, and because the last time I saw a movie in Imax was at Disney World in 2008, we splurged and went and saw the movie in Imax 3D. It was a really good movie, and I enjoyed our date! We had icecream before the movie, and we had popcorn during the movie, and we came home and Dorito crusted chicken for dinner. (A very junk-food day apparently).

Today is my nieces Megan and Miranda's 12th Birthday! I made them a couple of birthday cards and I'll be sending them out tomorrow. ( A little late, but hey I've been busy).
Their brother Jake's 16th Birthday is later this month. I remember being 12 and 16. My 12th birthday was spent with my friend Rebecca, eating an icecream cake, and wearing pig-tails with overalls. My 16th birthday was spent with my friends Jocelyn, Lindsey, Mark and Neil, eating pizza, listening to music, eating cake, and we Lindsey glow-sticking for me.
Those  days seem like forever ago. I sometimes miss those days.

Saturday we will be going to a friends Gender Reveal. :) I've never been to one, so this should be interesting. She was my former boss at Wet Seal, and we've been friends since. I'm excited to see whether she is having a little girl or a little boy. She has asked each person to wear either Pink or Blue to cast a vote, so Chris and I are being cute and he is wearing blue, and I am wearing pink. The card I was crafting a couple weeks ago was for her!
It is also a diapers and toiletries party, so those are the types of gifts you're supposed to bring. (I won't say what we bought, just in case she happens to read this blog entry ;))

Sunday is Mothers Day!!!!! This year will be really hard and really different, because most Mothers Days I would spend going to my moms and my mother-in-laws. I am so happy that I have my little man to wake me up in the morning with kisses and to say happy mommy's day, because without him, I'm not sure how I would act for Mothers Day. I miss my mom. I miss her a lot. I have been giving Chris *subtle* hints for a Mothers Day present from him and Christopher, so it'll be exciting to see what he comes up with.

Well...
this is all for today :)
Happy May!!!
