Friendship Friday [Vacations]...

Hello Bloggers!! I have linked up with Create With Joy for Friendship Friday!

  • What are your plans for vacation this summer?
We were planning on going to New York this summer, but right now funds are not available, and I'm in the process of Physical Therapy and putting applications in at different jobs. However; we do plan to visit Charleston in the next month or two :)

  • How often do you take a vacation from your blog?
Well this year and last year I took a couple "vacations" but it wasn't meant. I think I will be sticking more to blogging this year :) Especially now that I have things to look forward to.

Well this is all for today! :)
Have a great weekend everyone! (Next week I'll probably be blogging after July 4th!!!

Fathers Day, Physical Therapy, Pre-school, and COUPONING AT DOLLAR GENERAL.....

Hello Everyone! I'm sorry that it has been a little while since I have written.

Fathers Day was nice. Chris and I washed Kevin's bike in the morning/ish, swam in the pool with Christopher and then that night Chris and I saw This is the End.

We weren't able to see Pop that day because he was still in New York with his family. We'll be celebrating Fathers Day later this week with him :)

2 days later I was supposed to go to Physical Therapy but workers comp did not approve of Moore Ortho because they were not in network. So my next physical therapy appointment is Friday at 9:30am at Progressive Physical Therapy.

Thursday Christopher went to his very first "preschool" kids club at a local church. :) It was for a couple hours and he had a BLAST! When we came back to pick him up at noon, he gave us hugs and kisses and he gave me a cross he colored that says his name, his age, his favorite colors, and foods :) He goes again on July 11th.

Saturday we went to the grocery store to do our usual "shopping trip". I scored my highest savings yet! I saved 49% at Dollar General and I was really happy. I'll show you a picture and a breakdown:

(I shared this on The Krazy Coupon Lady)

Rainy Monday, Dog Sitting, Pen-pals and notes, lists, and coupon binding......

Hello Everyone! Happy Monday! (Although Monday's aren't usually the best days of the week, but because I'm not working right now, all my days seem to be running together.)

Daisy and I have been having a ball while I have been dog sitting her. :) My pop is in NY right now, so she has been staying with me. She has "sort-of" gotten along with all the dogs, and she is freely roaming around the house, and I was even able to get her to go #1 and #2 in the backyard without having to take her for a "walk".
She sleeps in bed with me, but usually in the middle of the night she gets down for some water, and because she can't get back on the bed by herself, she sleeps on the floor on my side of the bed on this huge pillow that happened to fall to the floor.

My pen-pal and friend Becca sent me a note and a beautiful card bearing another note inside. :) I also got a "gift"-- some blue stars for her "blue period" that I will be putting to great use later this week :)
We have been friends and pen-pals for 10 years now. Starting out with Kiwibox and moving our way into different blogs, and facebook-- we have been conversing for a long while. She also has a "notebook" coming, and that by far is what I am looking forward to the most. A lot of our lives are in those notebooks. A lot of memories, and thoughts, and actions.
I cannot wait to share more with her as my life goes on. :)

For the past couple of weeks as you know I have been "saving" coupons and making small shopping trips. My first shopping trip with actual coupons saved my 45%. Although that is not 75-99% , I did not do anything extreme and I was happy about saving that amount. I scored a great deal on B1G1 Cereals and I was able to use coupons so now our family is stocked up with a bunch of different cereal. :) Thank you Amy for giving me the ideas and helping me get started.
This picture that you see is of my "lists". What I have to do each day and or what is approaching. I have a little black book and my May Book that helps me schedule things, but because I'm also on my computer, I just jot things down randomly to remember very quickly :)

And speaking of couponing... here is my new pride and joy-- my coupon binder. This is the ONLY thing I got EXTREME with. I love organization, and I need organization in my life in order to keep things all in tacked. I enjoy organizing and actually clipping my coupons. I used the help of The Krazy Coupon Lady for ideas on how to get started :) It has helped me a great deal!

Well... this is all for today! I hope again that everyone has a great Monday!

May Designs, House Sitting, Dog Sitting, and Job Applications....

My new May Designs Planner is here!!!! YAY! I recall telling you guys about ordering it a few weeks ago. It took about 12 days to get here from point of order, through production, to it sitting in my hands. I had originally wanted to get it when I was looking on Pinterest at really cute organizational ideas, but it made it all the more better when they had appeared a couple days later on Good Morning America and everything on their site was 50% off! So with shipping included this cute little book cost $16. You can order one for yourself HERE.

Yesterday Chris and I picked up my pop's dog Daisy. She will be staying with us till about the 15th of this month. My dad went to NY to visit some family. She has been alright so far, and this isn't the first time we have taken care of her, we just have been trying to get her out in the living room with the other dogs. If you guys remember, there are 4 other dogs in this house (1 Golden Retriever, 1 Black Lab, and 2 Siberian Huskies) so Daisy is SUPER TINY compared to them and she gets really scared. But I think we should be fine with her. We're also going over to my Pop's every other day to make sure that no one has broken in, that his lawn stays mowed, his flowers are watered, and the birds have food.

Today we stopped by a local bank (by local I mean it only has 3 locations in the ENTIRE State. :) I dropped off my application and talked to a lady at the front desk. I am hoping that I get the job. Wish me luck :)

I hope you guys have a great Wednesday.
All for Today! :)

I have also been taking tips from The Krazy Coupon Lady. I have watched their videos on youtube, and I have friended them on facebook, and I have also gone to their website-- which I kindly linked for you guys to check out :)

Well... I know this is short, but I wanted to do a June entry, and let you guys know about my coupon endeavors. :)
